珍しく三文記事ですが、ロンドンのインド系イギリス人の愛憎劇。日本にもあったカレー殺人事件つながりということで。

Lakhvir Singh（45）は、Lakhvinder ''Lucky'' Cheema（39）と 16 年間不倫の末、彼が別の女性 Gurjeet Choongh（21）と結婚することを知ると、嫉妬のあまり、二人が食べるカレーにトリカブトを仕込んで毒殺しようとした。

Singh 被告自身は、当時ガンを病む夫が海外で治療を受けており、3 人の子供がいたが、出会って数ヶ月の別の女性と結婚しようとした愛人の心変わりが許せず、毒を盛った疑い。

うーむ、East Ender 並みな展開です。

Murder By Poisoned Curry

Well, basically gossips are not my cup of tea, but this story is a bit related to a murder in Japan (also concerned with poisoned curry) . It's a love-hate story among the Indian British in London.

Lakhvir Singh, 45 had a secret affair with Lakhvinder ''Lucky'' Cheema, 39, for 16 years. When Singh knew Mr. Cheema was about to marry with Gurjeet Choongh, 21, she got jealous to add aconite to the curry for the couple.

Singh's husband was being treated for cancer abroad and she was a mother of three. Singh allegedly plotted to poison the curry as she could not bear his lover's marriage to another woman whom Mr. Cheema had known only for a few month.

Wow, it's like one of the episodes in East Ender.
